Alternatives, LLC has been an agency for the past 6 years, but a contractor with RMHS for a total of 36 years. Our mission is to assist individuals each day to make their lives better and more fulfilled. Teaching them how to become more independent and self reliant, and to feel good about their accomplishments. SCC - I have a young adult female provider who facilitates an activity groups. Our program emphasizes active living, creativity and community engagement. They enjoy activities such as long walks outdoors or fitness sessions at the recreation center. We also offer a variety of arts and crafts projects, including painting, coloring and beadwork. to provide opportunities for creative expression. Additionally, we take educational outings to local museums, the zoo and other cultural attractions to foster learrning and connection. Our programs are smaller groups, so we are able to spend more interpersonal one-on-one time with group members. We would be happy to schedule a meeting with you to discuss the program in more detail and explore whether it would be a good fit for you. Mentorship - I assist families and individuals with Medicaid applications and Social Security applications. I have been doing this for a long time and I have become pretty knowledgeable in maneuvering though the systems. Homemaker - We also assist individuals with in home homemaker services. We educate and assist in laundry, cooking and cleaning. Sometime it just takes a little motivation and team work to check off the items on the lists.
